Dear parents, guardians, and MHS community members,
We are thrilled to extend a special invitation to you – an invitation that celebrates both your creativity and the vibrant spirit of our MHS community. We believe in the power of creativity to enrich our lives and those of our children. That’s why we’re excited to announce a unique opportunity for you to be a part of our upcoming MHS Art Show 2023!
We’re calling upon the artists and all creatives within our parent and family community to submit their own creations – whether it’s a mesmerizing painting, a captivating drawing, a visionary architectural design, or any other form of artistic expression that speaks to you.
This initiative is not just about showcasing your remarkable talents. It’s about something more profound – the interplay of creativity between generations. By sharing your artwork, you not only encourage and uplift your own child’s creative journey but also highlight the enduring value of creativity in adulthood.
The Art Show is an annual exhibit which takes place in the Art Building, and is one of the best ways for students completing a VCE Art subject gain recognition for their hard work and creativity, as well as their skills or talent. Artworks for this show usually display the widest variety of mediums that there is, including media, sculptures, installations, paintings, drawings, and even traditional Chinese painting or digital media and a video game.
We are dedicating a display area within our MHS Art Show, to parents/family members, recognizing their contributions to the creative development of their children. This will also present an opportunity for parents to promote their works to other community members.
The MHS Art Show opens Friday the 10th of November (Week 6 of Term 4)
