Vietnamese Culture Club bánh mì stall

Share

On November 14th, the Vietnamese Culture Club held a bánh mì stall in collaboration with Masterroll Vietnam to celebrate the variety of cultures represented at Melbourne High School. Vietnamese culture has especially been overshadowed for a long time, however after many years of no club representation, Vietnamese culture comes back stronger than ever.

Students put on their best Vietnamese áo dài and nón lá, playing traditional music, and selling batches of multiple bánh mì. The decorations made for a Vietnamese vibe.

Overall, the event was a HUGE success, the club profited quite greatly and we are excited for our plans next year. We appreciate all of your support, especially Ms Capon and Mr Leong (the GOATs) and hope to do much more moving forward. Come back again next time lads, if you missed this opportunity, don’t worry! We’ve got tons more coming your way.
