This presentation will cover many of the important areas concerned with getting into a Medicine course either within Victoria and/or around Australia.

The Program will consist of 4 components and they are as follows:

  1. New Medicine Students Discussion Panel.
  2. Overview of Deakin University’s Postgraduate Medicine Course.
  3. PowerPoint Presentation on preparing for a university offer in Medicine within Australia, hosted by Ray Boyapati.
  4. Summary of all data collected from students at MHS in 2023 vying for a place at for Monash University Medicine. Also, looking at the entrance requirements for some well-known universities around Australia, hosted by Bill Theodoropoulos.

At 3:45pm

New Medicine Students Discussion Panel consisting of Isaac Pinczewski, Mark Liu, Aidin Liu together with Ray Boyapati and Mr Theodoropoulos.

At 4:10pm

Deakin University Future Student Reps and/or Deakin University Medicine Staff will provide an overview of their medicine program at the Waurn Ponds (Geelong) Campus, as well as answer some Q&A questions. [The intention here is to ensure prospective med students do look at this university and course as another viable alternative in getting into a dream Medicine course].                                           

At 4:30pm

Powerpoint Presentation presented by Doctor Ray Boyapati [MBBS (Monash Uni), MD (Edinburgh), FRACP (Gastoenterology) and MedEntry (Owner)] on how Med inspired students should prepare themselves for entry into a Medicine course around Australia.

At 5:10pm

Summary of all de-identified data collected from students at MHS in 2023 vying for a place at Monash University Medicine. What were the range of ATARs, the range of UCATs and suggested rankings for their MMI Interviews that secured these students with a place in a Medicine course locally or interstate.  Also, we will briefly look at the entrance requirements for several well-known universities around Australia, hosted by Bill Theodoropoulos and Ray Boyapati. With expert comments from Isaac, Aidin and Mark.
