Last Saturday at sunny Princes Park, two MHS Cross Country teams competed against the best private and government schools in the Cross Country Road Relays, a competition of 4 students each running a 3km lap.
The U16 team came 13th out of 45 and consisted of Ario Sakhaie, Joe Kneebone, Kingston Li and Harry Marr. The winning team was Wesley College.
The U18 team unfortunately had a last minute withdrawal, but Paul He ran two laps (with a negative split!) so that the team could complete. They were 25th out of 40.
The team was Paul He, Jeevessh Anantharaju Naidu and Khalid Sarker. The winning team was Wesley College.
