Indonesian Model UN

Everyone had a great time at Model UN in Indonesian last Friday 2nd August. Representing a variety of countries, it gave a great opportunity for everyone to practice their Indonesian speaking and listening skills, and to advocate for their countries policies with other schools surrounding the emergence of artificial intelligence and sustainable development. It was great to discuss the emergence of world problems and hearing about different solutions to the same problems, aiming to do it in the most efficient and effective way possible.

At some stages, it provided a very good challenge and pushed our Indonesian skills to spontaneously answer any questions that may arise in the debate, at times getting very intense. Even with the occasional mistake, when compared with the other participants, the MHS students were able to hold their own and demonstrate excellent language skills in the Indonesian language!
