On the 26th of Aug, Macrob and Melbourne High students participated in a senior cup competition comprised of numerous novelty games. Although both schools tied 1-1 initially winning the ‘make a shape with your body’ and ‘floor is lava’ games respectively. Macrob took it home with the ‘rob the nest’ game winning 2-1 overall. The day was full of excitement and cheer for some friendly competition.
We acknowledge the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin nation as the traditional owners of this land on which we learn, and their enduring connections to Country. Melbourne High School is grateful for the ongoing leadership of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander communities in Australian education. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded. We are thankful that we can develop respect and understanding for cultural diversity, and enrich our appreciation of Indigenous history and culture.
