Over the Term break, six Melbourne High students received the opportunity to represent Victoria at the Australian Youth Ultimate Championships. As a result of hard work and perseverance across three months of training on various weekends in Melbourne, the boys were split into two teams for Victoria and travelled to Queensland to play the competition against various states across Australia. All six boys impressed in their various roles within their teams, ranging from layout catches to keeping team morale high. With both teams having an amazing tournament one team made it into the Bronze medal match, losing out in a narrow loss against the home team, Queensland. Sayon and Rakshan were further recognised for their abilities on the field being selected in the team of the tournament for which they were awarded a medal, capping of an impressive campaign for all included.
