Dr Iwan Syahril, Director General of Early Childhood Education, Primary and Secondary Education with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of Indonesia, along with a distinguished Indonesian delegation and the AEF delegation, visited Melbourne High School, a BRIDGE school in Victoria, Australia.
This visit marked a significant milestone in the growing partnership between Australia and Indonesia, as they explored the transformative power of BRIDGE and the integration of cutting-edge technologies in education. Valuable discussions were held, promising to enhance the educational experience for students, parents, teachers, and school leaders on both sides.
Among the esteemed attendees was Mr Mukhamad Najib, Education Attaché from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, Canberra. A warm welcome was extended by Andrew Sloan, Assistant Principal, Jan Devlin, Assistant Principal, and Silvy Wantania, BRIDGE Educator from Melbourne High School.
The meeting focused on the Australia-Indonesia BRIDGE Partnerships Program’s impact, especially the collaboration between Melbourne High School and SMA Negeri 1 Sumbawa Besar. This cross-cultural initiative in education shows great promise for the future.
