Last Saturday at a foggy Jells Park three MHS Cross Country teams competed against the best private and government schools in the Cross Country Relays, a competition of 4 students each running a 3km lap.
- In the U20 our team came 6th overall. The team consisted of Oliver Byrnes, Aryan Pokhrel, Armeet Dhaliwal and Finley Symons, who finished his 3km lap in 09 minutes11 seconds. Overall time was 40 minutes 17 seconds. The winning team was Scotch College with a winning time of 37 minutes 53 seconds.
- The U16 team came 10th and consisted of Ario Sakhaie, Joe Kneebone, Kingston Li and Harry Marr. The winning team was Wesley College.
- The U18 team is unfortunately still running due to them dropping their electronic timer somewhere on the course, thus did not record a final time. Officially they were 33rd and wiser for the experience. The team was Paul He, Jeevessh Naidu, Muhaymen Mamun and Khalid Sarker. The winning team was Caulfield Grammar.
