School Captain and Dux Rohan Green recently visited to speak with students about his experiences and reflections. In his capacity as an outstanding scholar and an outstanding leader, he was able to provide great insights on leadership and academic achievement; weighing in on the compromises between the two roles. He spoke on his high school experience while showing the importance of time management, resilience, and a strong support network of friends. On the other side, he also mentioned some of the challenges he was dealt with, such as the stresses of VCE and leadership, and how he overcame those challenges. His address had a motivational flair, as he told students of seizing the opportunities at Melbourne High, from extracurriculars to academic support systems. Rohan shared some practical study techniques that helped him through, including doing past exam papers. His visit must have made a huge impression on the students, getting them motivated to pursue academic excellence while enjoying an enriching life at school. This was hosted by Divyaansh Goswami for Productivity Club.
